Intern Osteopath
Sophie is currently in the final months of completing her master’s degree in Osteopathy and has a strong passion for understanding her patients as individuals. She values active listening and genuine connection, believing that the best outcomes come from truly understanding what matters most to each patient.
With a background in sport, particularly netball and basketball, Sophie has experienced her own injuries and setbacks, giving her a firsthand appreciation of the physical and mental challenges that can come with being injured. This has shaped her compassionate and supportive approach to care.
In her consultations, Sophie uses a range of techniques including Muscle Energy Techniques (MET), indirect techniques, joint articulation, and soft tissue therapy. She enjoys working collaboratively with patients to create rehabilitation plans that are realistic, achievable, and fit seamlessly into everyday life.
Outside the clinic, Sophie enjoys Pilates, long walks with her dogs, spending time with family and friends, and discovering new makeup, skincare, and fragrances. She loves a good chat and strives to create a relaxed, welcoming environment for everyone she treats.
Please note if wishing to be treated by Sophie your consultation cannot be claimed through any private health cover with extras. There is no rebate and the reduced fee reflects this in the internship.
