Born and raised in Melbourne, Tammy graduated from RMIT University with a double degree in Bachelor of Health Science/Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopathy). Her conscientious and empathetic nature underpins her approach towards the care she provides for her patients. As a result, she determines to grow her skillset alongside her Level 1 Dry Needling & Myofascial Cupping qualification.
Tammy’s enthusiasm for Osteopathy quickly grew after travelling interstate to learn under practitioners she believes reflect the best of her profession. She has since endeavoured to continually surround herself with Osteopaths who inspire her career daily, and is continually amazed by the scope of her profession.
From personal experience and observing its effects on her loved ones, Tammy has particular interest in headaches, TMJ, wrist, shoulder, and back pain. In addition to utilising a variety of techniques, her consultations emphasise the importance of active listening, communication, and patient education. This reflects her commitment to provide her patients with the most effective personalised treatment.
Outside of the clinic, Tammy can be found indulging in her love of art, history, food, and culture. You can count on her presence in the front row of ballet and musical theatre performances, at markets, festivals, art galleries, and exhibitions, or exploring hidden coffee shops and scouring the shelves of local bookstores for the latest mythological novel. If she is not answering the phone, chances are she is preoccupied trying to keep her flowers and plants alive or is in the middle of completing her second one-thousand-piece puzzle for the week.
