Dr Lachlan Nolte graduated RMIT university with a Bachelor of Health Science/Applied Science (Osteopathy). He is extremely excited about joining the team at The Osteopaths of Heidelberg.
Lachlan grew up in the regional Victorian town of Portland, where he developed a passion for road cycling. He participated in a number of cycling races, which caused multiple injuries. As a result of the care he received for his injuries, an interest in the healthcare field emerged, in particular osteopathy. Lachlan enjoys the use of different osteopathic related techniques, exercise rehabilitation and patient education to help people from all walks of life. He has a keen interest in desk related pain, sporting-related injuries, and lower back pain.
Lachlan has developed his skills over the past four years, working in a variety of football clubs. He started as a trainer at a local football team in Geelong, then was offered a position as a sports trainer at the Collingwood Football Club, for the VFL and AFL teams. Lachlan was lucky enough to work at Collingwood during the 2018 AFL finals series, including the grand final.
What Lachlan loves most about osteopathy is the satisfaction he gains from helping people live their best quality of life. In his spare time he enjoys exploring the great outdoors, watching the Western Bulldogs and spending time with friends and family.
