Michael Newbold is currently studying in his final semester, completing a Bachelor of Health and Applied Science (Osteopathy). His drive and passion in becoming an Osteopath stems from a love of working with people.
Michael has been practicing his skills whilst treating patients weekly at RMIT’s Student Health Clinic over the past two years, as well as working with the Diamond Creek Football Club as part of their training staff. Being granted the opportunity to join The Osteopaths of Heidelberg, Michael is excited to join yet another thriving team environment.
After experiencing countless injuries, himself, Michael understands the importance of caring for the body holistically, encompassing rehabilitation along with patient centered care. He works to ensure his patient is well educated when voicing any concerns to better the communication between himself and his patient’s and further understand any issues that may arise. Feedback from the patient is crucial to Michael as he understands the importance of informed practice when managing and meeting his patient’s needs.
In his spare time, Michael enjoys getting out on his motorbike riding dirt tracks, hitting the slopes on his snowboard, watching the Brisbane Lions win as well as spending quality time with family and friends.
