Tegan is a registered osteopath who completed her qualifications at RMIT University in Melbourne. Since graduating, she has worked in both rural Victoria and Melbourne gaining experience treating patients from all walks of life, and a diverse range of conditions.
As an active, and very sporty teenager, Tegan acquired various sports injuries. This lead her to seek the attention of a range of different health modalities and eventually she found osteopathy. Osteopathy immediately impressed her with its holistic, hands on approach, knowledgable practitioners and emphasis on considering the patient as a unique individual. Tegan firmly set her sights on becoming an osteopath herself, and has never looked back.
Now — years down the track — Tegan is a passionate osteopath who believes in working with her patients and encouraging them to take an active role in their health and wellbeing. She has also completed further study in clinical Pilates, and finds it is a useful additional tool for rehabilitation, conditioning and general strength.
Originally from country Victoria, Tegan loves the great outdoors, all things food and travel. This includes one of her favourite adventures, a trip to Costa Rica, where she worked as a volunteer on a conservation project.
Tegan is a member of the Australian Osteopathic Association.
